We hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season and a Happy New Year. It is bit warm here on the east coast of Florida but the Christmas lights help in putting us into the Christmas Spirit.
Jay and Hanna are doing very well. Jay is exceeding all expectations in school, and still loves to draw. He also enjoys writing in his journal, something near and dear to his mother’s heart. He is signed up for baseball and is eager to meet his teammates. He will try out in January. He also joined the Cub Scouts this fall.
Hanna is blossoming in Kindergarten. She really likes her teacher and spends most of her days sounding out words and singing. We found a good gymnastics academy and she is becoming a good tumbler.
John and I are playing in the bell choir at our new church. We have been so fortunate to be able to be in a bell choir in every church we have attended. We are members of Suntree United Methodist Church, which is much larger than we anticipated, but the kids are making friends in Sunday School and on Wonderful Wednesday nights.
John is enjoying his new job, even though he cannot talk about it much. He will probably stay in the US as part of our Homeland Security. He works with the monitoring of underground and underwater sensors that detect seismic and nuclear explosions. Speaking of security, it is tight on base and it is real interesting to drive onto base with a machine gun pointed at your car.
I’m back in college working toward and education degree. I took two classes this semester and just finished final exams. I am doing well with a strong A in each class.
We wish you all the best in the New Year and Peace on Earth! God Bless America!
Love,
John, Audra, Jay and Hanna
