Christmas 1999

Dear Loved Ones,

Our wish for you, is one of joy and peace for a blessed Christmas and a new year full of love. Each of you are in our thoughts and prayers as we celebrate the birth of our Saviour, Jesus.

This has been a year to remember for us and each of you have made it a true blessing. As most of you know we experienced the force of an F5 tornado in May. With the rebuilding of our home and our lives God has proven to be merciful. Without his grace and your love and support we could not have made it through this trial.

This Christmas will have special meaning to us as we travel to Ohio to spend Christmas with our families. Hopefully, the house will be finished and ready to move in as you recieve this letter.

Jay is seven now and learning to read and do arithmetic. It is amazing to me how he absorbs so much. He is growing at a high rate of speed and loves to play baseball. He is playing machine pitch again in the spring and has learned to hit pretty well.

Hanna is three and a miniature lady. She loves to play with her Barbies and picks on her brother as they fight for the computer. She is in preschool twice a week and keeps John and I on our toes. She is still very petite but explains to everyone that she is getting bigger.

John is busy at work, helping to regulate and update the Nexrad radar at various sites. His next trip will be to Hawaii in February, lucky dog! He is a deacon at our church and we both play in the bell choir.

I am busy driving the kids to school, finishing my writing course, helping to rebuild the house, and trying to find some of the precious things we lost. We are sad at times, but remember that the Lord protected us and for some reason we went through an F5 tornado. We love you all and wish you all the best.

Merry Christmas,

John, Audra, Jay and Hanna Millhouse
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
